Humbug Road

A gravel road through a burned forest with charred trees and a damaged concrete barrier on the side.

As a part of the Upper Butte Creek Forest Health Initiative, a portion of the Humbug Summit Road (Butte County road 91513) would be realigned to contribute to meadow and stream restoration on Willow Creek (see Meadow Restoration and Stream Enhancement tab). The realignment would utilize National Forest Service (NFS) road 26N33, a short segment of new construction, and NFS road 26N02 (the Cirby Meadow Road). After the realignment is constructed to Butte County Public Works standards, the small portion of Humbug Summit Road that bisects Willow Creek Meadow would be decommissioned.
